Amanda + Will’s wedding was full of my favorite things – an intimate crowd, soft + romantic details, and a beautiful waterfront view. Being from Florida, but now living in Washington, the couple decided to go with an Airbnb for their intimate wedding. It was the perfect spot for a chilly spring time Florida wedding.
If you know anything about me you know I am a sucker for colorful weddings. I live for unexpected color combos and bespoke florals! This wedding shoot pulled together so many of my favorite things – crystals, lush tropical landscapes, vintage decor, and a few of my favorite vendors!
Want to skip the traditional wedding and do something fun + spontaneous with your partner instead? This elopement inspiration shoot is for you! The vision behind this wedding was basically travel and fun; I decided “let’s tell a story.” You and your fiancé visit a new town, take a long weekend, and elope. You wake up together on your wedding day, have champagne in your suite + get ready together, then spend your wedding evening chasing sunsets on rooftops in a cozy little beach town. What could be better than that?!
Chelsea and Brandon waited years for their wedding day and it was an honor to see it through to the end with them! C + B wanted to bring all the old Florida vibes for their wedding at Field Manor; an old citrus grove with a historic home turned museum on the Indian River in Merritt Island. The colors were a dream for me – lots of peach, orange, sage green, and citrus throughout!
Does having a planner really make a difference? Is it worth the splurge? What does a planner do, besides just help set up on the wedding day? Let’s talk about it.
Coming from working at an event venue, I’ve seen my share of styled shoots; but this one was special. It’s the first shoot I designed for, and as Alexis Jean Events. I’m super excited to share it with you! When it came for inspiration – I have been obsessed with all the gorgeous and intimate picnic celebrations I’ve been seeing lately; so combine that with my love of smaller weddings + we’ve got this romantic, bright + tropical dreamy elopement.
